Law and AI
in a nutshell
The regulation of AI aims for a regulatory framework allowing to harness its vast potential while mitigating its risks. Human-centredness is at the heart of the European Union's new AI Act. Analyzing, interpretng and advancing it is of ever-increasing significance for all concerned parties, like providers, deployers and affected persons. Existing other bodies of law from a diverse range of fields have to be interpreted anew and developed further in light of the dynamic development and deployment of AI. This is the mission of the research professorship Law and AI.
