A wide, green meadow with large wind turbines and solar panel fields. In the center, there is a white industrial building with pipes that could serve as an energy storage facility.

Vision in research, knowledge and technology transfer

Research from the basics to application for climate-neutral and sustainable energy technology of tomorrow

The research conducted at INSYS at THWS is characterized by interdisciplinarity and application orientation.

Our aim is always to address topics of regional relevance in a responsible, scientifically accurate, and sustainable manner and to transfer the resulting findings to our research partners for practical application.

The results of our research should have an impact on teaching and also be applied in industry.

With this motivation for research, INSYS aims to contribute to the technical, economic, and socio-economic implementation of the energy transition and climate-neutral and sustainable energy technology.
