Admission Pre-Check Master Transformation
Welcome to the MBA Transformation at THWS! Thank you for your interest in our MBA program "Transformation" at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. We look forward to accompanying you on your journey! We are happy to offer you a free and non-binding admissions check in advance. This allows us to check together whether you meet the formal requirements for an application - before you start the official application process.
Please note: The official application phase runs from October 15 to December 15 each year. Your application must be submitted via the THWS Campus Portal during this period. Use the admissions check as a first step - we look forward to getting to know you!

Study requirements
The detailed study requirements can be seen from § 3 of the Study and Exam Regulations (SPO). Here is a simplified overview:
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor degree or comparable)
- 180 - 210 ECTS points (in case of less than 210 ECTS points, extra courses are available)
- In any discipline accepted
- At least 1 year of qualified work experience after completing the undergraduate degree (an additional year of work experience can be accepted as 30 ECTS points)
- If the undergraduate degree was not completed in English, English language knowledge of at least CEFR B2 Level needs to be documented before start of studies (e.g. via German Abitur or language certificate)
- A valid preliminary review documentation (VPD) from uni-assist for applicants with non-German university entrance qualifications. Detailed information regarding VPD is availabe on our THWS International Website.
THWS itself does not offer scholarships, but will support your individual scholarship applications if requested. There are no fees for your application to the MBA Master Transformation.
