TTZ-Kitzingen Stiftertreffen at cairo.thws

Yesterday, cairo.thws proudly hosted a donors' meeting (Stifter-Treffen) for the Technologietransferzentrum Kitzingen (TTZ-KT), marking an afternoon full of insightful exchanges and valuable discussions.

The agenda featured:

  • An introduction to cairo.thws by Prof. Dr. Pascal Meißner, which sparked numerous questions about AI and the support processes offered by cairo.thws
  • cairo.thws research professor Pascal Meißner also shared insights into his personal research.
  • Prof. Dr. Dominik Seuß presented his research endeavors.
  • Four of our cairo.thws PhD students (Philipp Väth, Lars Fichtel, Pavel Chizhov, Max Werner) showcased their research topics, many of which aligned closely with the needs of our TTZ-KT donors.

A key aspect of the event was the networking session, which provided a perfect platform for discussions about opportunities for our master's students in AI (MAI). Conversations centered around how these students can secure positions as working students, complete master theses, and explore permanent employment opportunities. Additionally, Mr. Lothar Pfeuffer (Pfeuffer GmbH Mess- und Prüfgeräte) and Mr. Berger (ZMI GmbH) shared their experiences working with international student interns.
