Project management office

The Project Management Office (PMO) serves as an interface between the institutes of THWS and the Campus for Applied Research (CAF) in order to provide close networking and integration. The PMO records all important project data from the institutes, such as documentation of financial resources and project-related personnel deployment. The aim is to ensure the optimal allocation of resources for approved and completed projects.

The PMO is currently in the pilot phase and supports the following institutes through the targeted deployment of research assistants:

• Institute for Sustainable Energy Systems (INSYS)
• Institute for Applied Social Sciences (IFAS)
• Institute for Rescue Services, Emergency and Disaster Management (IREM)
• Institute for Design and Information Systems (IDIS)

There are plans to roll out the PMO service to all institutes at THWS on a permanent basis.
