Knowledge transfer comprises exchange and the sharing of know-how, abilities, and experiences between THWS and external partners. It forms the basis for effective cooperations and networks that promote the development of innovative solutions and creative approaches in various fields. Our targeted science communication ensures that our research findings are easy to understand and reach a large audience.
Technology transfer on the other hand focuses on translating concrete technological developments and inventions in marketable products and processes. In this, we cooperate closely with companies and institutions to optimally use new technologies and inventions and promote their practical implementation.
THWS prioritises establishing and maintaining cooperations and networks to tap the full potential of knowledge transfer and technology transfer. Through active exchange with partners from industry, politics, and society, we promote the innovational power of our region and make a valuable contribution to economic and societal development.
With our two strong THWS locations and six technology transfer centers, we are the "academic local supplier" for application orientation and innovations in Main-Franconia.
