THWS transfer strategy

The aim of the transfer strategy of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is to coordinate and promote activities and resources in the areas of technology and knowledge transfer. We strive to create a mutual understanding of transfer and to reach the intended transfer objectives. The strategy is based on the overarching objectives of THWS, which include internationalisation, regionalisation, digitalisation, as well as zero carbon and equal opportunity.

The transfer strategy comprises six fields of action taking into account different transfer approaches, including technology transfer centers, state-of-the-art labs, international transfer, entrepreneurship, and exchange with experts. These fields of action aim to promote knowledge transfer and ensure that THWS directly contributes to societal developments.

THWS' vision is based on networking and promoting synergetic relationships between teaching, research, and society.
