Summary

The OBerA project (Optimisation of processes and machine tools through the provision, analysis and target-actual comparisons of production data) was initiated to support medium-sized metal processing companies in the digitisation of its system landscape. The project group consists of five manufacturing businesses of the Mainfranken region. Additionally, Siemens is a technological partner, while Heisab and Heitec are specialists for the development of process improvement software. THWS takes the position of an academic partner.
