Study contents

The three-semester master's programme Transformation at THWS provides specialists and managers with practical skills in change management. In the first two semesters, you will gain a sound understanding of transformation processes, strategic management, and digital innovation. You will learn through interactive teaching methods, project work, and simulations. In the third semester, you will apply your knowledge in a real-life transformation project and complete your studies with a master's thesis.

1. Fachstudium (1st and 2nd semester)

In the first two semesters, you will learn the methodological and theoretical foundations of transformation. The focus is on topics such as change management, digital business models, sustainable corporate management and the role of people and technologies in change processes. Interactive teaching methods, case studies, and simulations prepare you in a practical way to manage complex change processes. You will acquire knowledge of agile methods, systemic thinking, and leadership approaches in order to successfully implement transformation strategies.

2: Final phase (3rd semester)

In the third semester, you will apply your knowledge in a real-life transformation project. Together with companies, you will develop strategies for change processes and put innovative solutions into practice. You will use agile and data-based methods to shape sustainable change. The master's thesis constitutes the academic conclusion of your studies and allows you to engage intensively with a current transformation topic.

In the master's programme in Transformation, you will cover various aspects of transformation in depth. You will learn how companies successfully implement change management, develop sustainable business models, and drive digital innovation.
