Würzburg – City of Young Scientists
THWS is networking partner of Würzburg – City of Young Scientists, where it plays an active role.
In 2014, the City of Würzburg has won the title “City of Young Scientists”. Since then, a core element of activities has been a regional funding competition for projects at the intersection between school and science.
THWS is a committed member of the Network WISSEN² – Würzburg’s initiatives at the intersection between schools and science.
The WISSEN2 network strives to support pupils who are interested in their own scientific projects in a school context, but who require support from scientists of their field.
Main-Franconia: Strong focus on STEM
The STEM region of Main-Franconia has set its goals to coordinating various events related to STEM subjects, to provide impulses, to make the world of STEM subjects more easily accessible, and to find and foster talents in the fields of STEM. THWS is a stakeholder in this network.
