Lift

The lift can be accessed via the ramp at the rear of the building. The lift leads to Levels -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 and is equipped with an acoustic level announcement. The passage to the lift is 90 cm wide.

Guidance system

For orientation within THWS buildings in Würzburg, a consistent system of room numbers is used. Numbers start with a letter designating the building. The following number designates the floor number or level. After that, the actual room number is given. Example: Z.1.01 = Münzstraße 19. Level 1. Room 1. The three pavilions have the room numbers Z.P.1, Z.P.2, and Z.P.3. Room designation in THWS buildings in Schweinfurt differs from that, because there numbers are used to designate buildings.

Building plans

At all important locations, escape and rescue plans are positioned at 120cm height. They make an overview of parts of the building possible.

Room marking

In Münzstraße 19, room marking is consistent. Boards mounted on the wall state the room number and the room’s use. Pavilions’ room marking is visible in the entrance area. There is no digital display of current courses.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets

In Münzstraße 19 as well as in the pavilions there are no wheelchair-accessible toilets available. Toilets in Münzstraße 12 may be used.

Seminar rooms

The equipment of seminar rooms varies and is adapted to the respective usage. For more information, please contact the responsible faculty.

Pavilions

Pavilions Z.P.1-3 are not fully accessible. Rooms are equipped with digital and overhead projectors and a stereo system. There is no specific speaker’s desk and no microphones nor acoustic systems for the hearing impaired. Rooms are not air-conditioned and can only be ventilated to a limited extent. Rooms are lit by neon lights and the possibilities for dimming are limited.

Computer pool

The computer pool in room Z.K.05-07 is right behind the main entrance from Münzstraße 19 on the right side. Coming from the main entrance, the room can only be reached via the stairs in the entrance area and is thus not fully accessible. There is a fully accessible entrance at the rear of the building. Please contact Facilities Management (HSGM), if you need to use this entrance.
