Digital Societies

In the context of digitalisation, there is an increasing need for interdisciplinary degree programmes that educate students at the interfaces of the relevant fields while considering the importance of the ability to familiarise with other fields. The importance of interface experts will increase constantly within the next decades. The new degree programme Digital Societies (Bachelor of Science) starts there to educate digitalisation experts through cross-faculty cooperation of the Faculty of Computer Science and Business Information Systems, the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Design. Not only develop students disciplinary competences of computer science, social sciences and design but also methodological-empirical competences and the ability to independently develop knowledge.
