Current strategic projects at THWS

The ProPere project aims to create long-term structural measures for the recruitment and development of professorial staff. The following focal points are at the centre of attention:

• Development and testing of innovative recruitment and qualification measures
• Increasing the number of applicants for professorships (especially increasing the proportion of women)
• Generating new professorial talent
• Enhancing the visibility of THWS as an employer
• Strengthening the compatibility of work and family life

The UNINOVIS university alliance aims to establish a European university for applied data sciences and to network education and research across Europe. The focus is on the following areas:

• Establishing a trans-European network of UNINOVIS members and associated partners
• Developing innovative educational concepts and models (from micro-credentials to PhD programs)
• Promoting physical and virtual mobility for all university members
• Promoting applied research and innovation and establishing eight thematic centers of excellence (Excellence Hubs)
• Strengthening ecological and digital transformation through a common ESG framework
