Hackathon at the Center for Artificial Intelligence at THWS

On 17 October, CAIRO.thws is hosting the Human Resources Hackathon from 8:30 to 18:00

Artificial Intelligence (AI) in human resources: that is the focus of the “Human Resources Hackathon“ hosted by the Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAIRO.thws) at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS).

Challenges can be submitted by interested parties from HR departments of companies, authorities, and independent non-governmental non-profit organisations.

The hackers taking on these challenges are first and foremost students with a connection to AI. But also people interested in AI can participate as a hacker.

Visitors looking to learn more about AI in HR are cordially invited.

The programme:

  • 8:30: Admission
  • 9:00: Opening of the event by Professor Dr. Ivan Yamshchikov, Head of CAIRO.thws, and opening keynote by Professor Dr. Sabrina Schorck, TH Aschaffenburg, on “Shining Bright: KI als Schlüssel zur Talentidentifikation und -entwicklung”
  • 9:40: Presentation of the challenges
  • 10:00: Team formation (three to five people) and commencement of work / for the visitors: Lectures
  • 13:00: Lunch
  • 14:00: More hacking and post-keynote offers for visitors
  • 17:00: Presentations and announcement of winners
  • 18:00: End of the event
