Change of perspective instead of lack thereof

Students who are doubting their studies or who have already dropped out of their studies can contact our dropout contacts to learn about alternative professional perspectives and support in taking up dual training. The offers of the dropout guidance will help you find the best option for you. Personal abilities and preferences are taken into account as well as the students' chances on the (regional) job market. Currently, there are different contact points.

The Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) offers advice and information. 

The Bavarian project "IBIzA" (a project of the Bavarian Cambers of Industry and Commerce) and the campaign "Switch-zur-Ausbildung" (Switch to professional training) addresses young people who are doubting and/or are failing their studies.

There is also an advisory offer by the Chamber of Crafts for Lower Franconia (Handwerkskammer für Unterfranken) for THWS students who are considering to drop out of their studies.

The THWS Academic Advisory Service offers advice when students doubt their choice of degree programme, informs students what to consider when changing their programme, and has answers to many organisational questions.
