Every day, the Studierendenwerk Würzburg with its dedicated team of about 300 staff takes care of the social well-being of all students at the four locations in Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Bamberg, and Aschaffenburg.

In the Studierendenwerk's cafeterias and canteens, students and all other members and guests of the University are offered a broad selection of dishes served in immediate vicinity of the University’s locations in Würzburg and Schweinfurt. For those who want to find out in advance what their canteen/cafeteria has on offer, the menus are published online.

When it comes to flat-hunting, the Studierendenwerk supports students not only by its private accommodation service and the project "Accommodation in Exchange for Help", but it also offers affordable accommodation in its own student residences.

Information on BAföG, which is state funding for students, is offered at the BAföG advisory service (German only) of the Studierendenwerk; please note that BAföG is only awarded to international students in exceptional cases. The advisory service, however, also offers information on student loans, grants and insurances.
