Society of Sponsors and Friends
On 16/01/1974, the Gesellschaft der Förderer und Freunde der Technischen Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt e. V. (Society of Sponsors and Friends) - back then called "Gesellschaft der Förderer und Freunde der Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt e. V." - was constituted as a registered society.
The purpose of the sponsoring society is to find friends and sponsors for the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt from among all sections of the population. Membership fees and donations will be used to support the university in all tasks assigned to it by law, in particular in the areas of research, teaching, international relations as well as projects and developments at the university. The sponsoring society focuses on providing funds for teaching, research, developments, projects, travel for business and training purposes, equipment as well as public relations activities. Its main focus is to promote technology and knowledge transfer between the university and the economy and to help guarantee good framework conditions at the university.
The sponsoring society aims to bring together former and current members as well as all other friends of the university and to allow these and the public to participate in its work and development by publishing reports, giving talks and organising further education events in all fields.

Members
The members fix annual membership fees at a level they consider appropriate. The standard annual membership fee is € 25.00 for individuals and a minimum of € 50.00 for associations of persons, corporations, companies, enterprises and firms. The general assembly is entitled to make changes to these standard fees.
Natural persons, associations of persons, corporations, trading companies, enterprises and firms that pay an annual membership fee of € 250.00 or more are considered sponsors.
We would be glad if you decided to join the Gesellschaft der Förderer und Freunde der Technischen Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt e. V. (Society of Sponsors and Friends) - either as a member of the Society itself or as a member of one of the following highly independent working groups.
