Welcome to our German courses for refugees!
You had to flee your country and now want to study in Germany? Language skills are an important prerequisite for this.
The THWS Campus for Language Proficiency will continue to offer free language courses in 2023 for refugees who want to start studying in Germany or continue their studies in Germany.
The language levels are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Read more about the CEFR.

Requirements for participation
The courses are financed throug the DAAD-programm "Integra". The Integra programm aims to integrate refugees in the german system of higher education. Therefore a condition of participation in an Integra course is the intension to study in Germany or to continue the studies in Germany.
You should also have already reached the respective previous level and feel confident enough to move on to the next level. However, it is not necessary to prove that you have reached the previous level in order to take part in the course.
Not sure which course to choose?
