High-Level Bavarian University Delegation Explores Collaborative Opportunities in Poznan, Poland

The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) organized a high-level delegation trip to the vibrant city of Poznan, Poland.
 
This visit brought together Bavarian university presidents and representatives, including Prof Dr Robert Grebner, president of THWS, and Prof Dr Magda Gregorová, head of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIRO), to meet with their counterparts in Poznan.

The delegation, consisting of 24 representatives of Bavarian universities, visited three prestigious universities in the city, including Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan University of Technology, and Poznan University of Economics and Business, to explore potential avenues for collaboration and strengthen academic relations.
 
The visit was a remarkable opportunity for both THWS and the institutions in Poznan to engage in fruitful discussions, exchange knowledge, and foster long-term partnerships – laying the foundation for promising future collaboration at academic and research levels.
 
During the visit, various meetings, seminars, and interactive sessions were held, allowing the delegation to learn about the unique academic programmes, research initiatives, and innovative projects of the Poznan universities. In turn, THWS representatives presented their institution, highlighting areas of expertise, research breakthroughs, and successful collaborations with other universities around the world. Furthermore, opportunities for student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, and joint workshops were explored.
 
The delegation's visit to Poznan marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in academic and research collaboration between THWS and the above-mentioned universities in Poznan. The identified areas of collaboration will be further developed through subsequent  communication, joint planning, and the exchange of resources.
